Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Services
Bayshore PetSitting and More is a professional pet care business established in 2015 by Amy Biven. We are a local, family-owned team that provides high quality, professional pet sitting and dog walking services for Corpus Christi and the surrounding area. With 5+ years of pet sitting experience, and 10+ years in the four-legged industry, the Pet Sitters of Bayshore PetSitting and More are committed to taking care of your furry family members as if they were our own! When work, vacations or schedule conflicts take you away, give us a call: we can create a customized plan for your cat, dog, or senior pet, including those with medical needs.

Medical & Special Needs Pet Care
Whether you are at home and need temporary care or personalized instruction, or are leaving town and would like an experienced pet sitter (and/or JVT/ veterinary technician) to be able to administer medications or other treatments, we are here for you. We can help you assess the immediate health of your pet, help you keep track of long term symptoms, and work with you to communicate effectively with your veterinarian so that your pet receives the best care possible. Bayshore PetSitting and More offers assistance to pet owners in accordance with the recommended treatments and medications prescribed by their veterinarians.

Pet Transportation

We offer the most effective, affordable and professional pet transportation alternative. Pet owners cannot always adjust their schedule or be available when their pet needs to attend an appointment at the veterinarian, groomer, etc. Sometimes the owner is ill or injured and unable to transport their pet to a scheduled appointment. When these situations occur, you have an option of using us to transport your pet. Our pet taxi service in Corpus Christi is available from 6 am to 8 pm for vet appointments, airports, and anywhere your pet needs to go. Your pet will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle that is well maintained and fully insured. We can provide a traveling container or crate, if needed. We can stay with your pets until ready to return or come back for them at a later time. Waiting time is not included in the base price.  Book and reserve your trip.

The Benefits of a Professional Pet Sitter
Pets are less stressed because they don’t have to go anywhere new. Travel trauma is eliminated for both pet and owner! They’re happier because they get to stay at home with all the familiar smells and favorite sunbathing places. Their diets and exercise routines don’t change very much (if at all), and they aren’t exposed to the illnesses one might find in a kennel. You don’t have to impose on family, friends or neighbors while you’re enjoying your vacation. Lastly, your pet gets to enjoy the one-on-one attention they crave, and you can rest easy with added peace of mind.

A Convenience Fee of $10 may be assessed for same-day reservations.
Proper planning is essential for providing the best care!
Due to the variable schedules of our clients, and the mobile nature of our service, we cannot guarantee specific visit times. We make an effort to be with your pet within 1-2 hours of the desired time frame.
You set up with predetermined Time Blocks for Morning, Mid-Day, Evening, and Overnight for scheduling purposes.

Most Vacation Visits will average 30 minutes. For very affectionate or high-energy pets, we can choose the longer Vacation Visits (approximately an hour). Please remember that the length of a visit will vary. Cats that hide the entire visit, small caged exotic pets, or birds often times do NOT take up a full 30 minutes. Some dog visits may also be less than 30 minutes if the dog was uncooperative, unfriendly, or not interested in anything more than food, water, treats, and a walk. Also, circumstances beyond the control of the pet care provider may cause delay and visits will have to be shorted to ensure that each pet is visited on time.

Can I tip my dog walker/ pet sitter?
Of course! While pet sitters appreciate a tip it isn’t absolutely necessary. We care for your pets with a great deal of love, and frequently go “above and beyond” the call of duty. We Pawsitively appreciate our customers.
Daily Visits
If you are going out of town for more than 24 hours, we schedule a minimum of 1 visit per day (even suggest for cats too!). Here’s why!  For the safety and wellness of your pets and ability to check-in on your property and home, we will not contract for non-consecutive day (skipping days) services.
Aggressive or Unvaccinated Pet Policy
For our safety and that of other people and animals, we reserve the right to refuse any services if you own an aggressive or unvaccinated pet.  This includes proper vaccinations for indoor-outdoor cats. All pets also need to be seen by their veterinarian annually.
